Powderhorn

Powderhorn Mountain Resort is located 45 minutes east of Grand Junction, Colorado on the Grand Mesa. The area has a variety of ski terrain such as groomers, bumps, glades, and boulder fields. Powderhorn is unique among Colorado ski resorts because of its terrain and climate. Powderhorn sits on the side of one of the world's largest flattop mountains, or mesas, rather than in a mountain canyon as many ski areas do, which allows for views extending more than 20 miles across the desert below.

Monarch

At Monarch Mountain, we don’t make artificial snow. We don’t have to; Monarch is nestled right up under the continental divide where storms march in from the west and deposit their bounty in abundance throughout the winter. So we’re blessed with an average of more than 350 inches of pure, powdery goodness each season.

Loveland

Near to the hearts and homes of generations of Colorado skiers and riders, Loveland is Colorado’s true winter wonderland. Just 53 miles west of Denver, Loveland boasts 1,800 acres of remarkable terrain, FREE snowcat skiing along the Continental Divide, an innovative lesson program and more snow than any Front Range or Summit County resort. Keystone

Keystone Ski Resort is located approximately 75 miles from Denver, in Summit County, and about 9 miles east on US Hwy 6 from the town of Silverthorne. The ski area is owned by Vail Resorts, which also manages 3 other Colorado ski resorts (see Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Vail).

Howelsen Hill

Howelsen Hill Ski Area is owned and operated by the City of Steamboat Springs and holds a unique place in the history of skiing. It has sent more skiers to international competition than any other area in North America. Come experience skiing history in the Yampa Valley! Howelsen Hill boasts a remarkable heritage. It is Colorado’s oldest continuously operated ski area, since 1915, and has the largest and most complete natural ski jumping complex in North America.

Hesperus

Just minutes from downtown Durango—11 miles west on Highway 160—Hesperus Ski Area offers 26 trails on 60 skiable acres, with 150 inches of annual snowfall.The double chair takes skiers and riders up to the 8,888′ summit for over 700 feet of vertical. Best known for night skiing and riding, Hesperus also offers tubing, rentals, ski and ride school and a snack bar and lodge.

Eldora

Just 35 miles Northwest of Denver, Boulder is a quaint city nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Home to the University of Colorado, Boulder is well known for it’s restaurants, nightlife, natural beauty and vast network of city trails and open space. Eldora Mountain Resort is a short drive from Boulder – only 21 miles through the beautiful and scenic Boulder Canyon.
