Keystone Ski Resort is located approximately 75 miles from Denver, in Summit County, and about 9 miles east on US Hwy 6 from the town of Silverthorne. The ski area is owned by Vail Resorts, which also manages 3 other Colorado ski resorts (see Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Vail).
Keystone was founded in 1970 and is the largest resort in Summit County at 3,128 acres. It consists of three peaks, numerous bowls and access to 135 marked trails, via 20 lifts, that offer terrain options for every skill level and ability. Keystone is also the largest resort to offer night skiing and riding.
With lodging options for every budget, award winning dining, close proximity to Denver and plenty of open space to ski and ride, Keystone is a premier ski destination.
