Huff Hills

The ski area is located 16 miles south of Bismarck/Mandan, ND., along the western slope of the Missouri River. Huff Hills offers skiing and snowboarding in a great family environment. The beginner area features family friendly terrain, and SnowSchool instructors are usually available to provide lessons. The ski area usually opens between Thanksgiving and the first weekend of December, depending on the weather. In a typical season we are open until the second or third week in March.

Holiday Mountain Ski & Fun

Holiday Mountain’s been the Southern Catskills skiing destination since 1957. Conveniently located just off New York State Route 17 at exit 107, less than two hours from New York City, Holiday is easily accessible for a day trip or an extended stay at endless hotels, inns and short-term rentals in the area. Our wide variety of terrain, 100% snowmaking, lighting on all our trails & tubing slopes – we’re perfect for skiers and riders of all abilities.

Hickory

Nestled in the scenic Adirondack Mountains just one hour from Albany is the historic Hickory Ski Center. Founded as “Hickory Hill” in 1945 by veterans of the famed ski troops of the American 10th Mountain Division, Hickory has stood like a sentinel on the banks of the Hudson River for almost 70 years. The spot – at the confluence of the Schroon and Hudson Rivers under the dominating presence of a sheer rock massif – is amongst the most beautiful in the Adirondacks.

Snowriver

Comprised of two mountains, Snowriver Mountain Resort offers various terrain and opportunities for powder run days after lake-effect snowstorms! In 2023, Snowriver Mountain Resort will be debuting the first ever high-speed, 6-pack chairlift in the U.P. - The Voyageur Express. The lift will be at Jackson Creek Summit and offers skiers and riders a quick three-minute lift ride versus the nearly 9-minute trip that three other lifts provided to the top of Jackson Creek!

Spruce

Spruce is a medium blue that has some rolling pitches and a pretty wide feel. It is very busy however, so that feel can be different on crowded days. Keep your eyes open for others and you’ll be fine. Many people like this trail as it’s a fun open blue that you can see the chair; and many feel safer that they are not going in the wrong way if they can follow it.

White Feather

This is the easiest run down Taos Ski Valley's lower frontside. From the top of Lift 1, head right and follow the signs past the Whistlestop and the bottom of Lift 2 and Lift 8, then head across a cat road as it makes its way back to the base area.
