    Saskadena Six Ski Area With easy-riding terrain perfect for families and beginners, Suicide Six Ski Area welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all abilities to slide down its groomed trails and thaw out beside the indoor/outdoor fireplace at the base of the alpine lodge. Home of the first National Snow Snurfing contest in 1982, Saskadena Six was one of the country's earliest ski resorts to allow the sport that would become snowboarding, and continues to embrace the spirit of winter fun. Our brand new Quad, a double chair and a J-bar surface tow service 24 trails _ 30% rated as beginner terrain, 40% as intermediate and 30% as advanced _ with the longest run spanning a distance of 5,280 feet. Rentals, repairs and a cozy base lodge and restaurant are all available just steps from the slopes.
