The Lyndon Outing Club (LOC) was established in 1937, founded by an active group of local skiers. In its heyday, the LOC was home to a competition ski jump and once served as training grounds for Olympic ski hopefuls. The LOC has been home to sled dog races, snow sculpture contests, and slalom races. The LOC was then and remains now committed to providing quality, family friendly outdoor recreation experiences. The LOC, one of the only remaining ski areas with a functioning rope tow, has trails for both novice and expert skiers and riders. The LOC offers the only night skiing in the area, featuring Friday night rail jams, entertainment on selected Saturday's, and an end of season torchlight parade.
