Twin Chutes is a great area that requires a long hike to get to. Some might be able to make it here in 15 minutes but some might take a whole lot longer than that. Access the gate that takes you here from the top of the Mercury SuperChair. After hiking past the Windows, the Back 9 and Broadway, you’ll be at the top of the climb. Look to the skier’s left and you’ll see the Twin Chutes. The right one is more of gully type and the left one is more open. Both are wide and not that steep but definitely have a back country feel. You’ll most likely be rewarded for your efforts with untouched powder stashes and great fun. Warning: The woods after are pretty tight.
