Spruce is a medium blue that has some rolling pitches and a pretty wide feel. It is very busy however, so that feel can be different on crowded days. Keep your eyes open for others and you’ll be fine. Many people like this trail as it’s a fun open blue that you can see the chair; and many feel safer that they are not going in the wrong way if they can follow it.

This is the easiest run down Taos Ski Valley's lower frontside. From the top of Lift 1, head right and follow the signs past the Whistlestop and the bottom of Lift 2 and Lift 8, then head across a cat road as it makes its way back to the base area.
