Crystal Ridge Area, Blackcomb

The Crystal Ridge Express Chairlift area is on the northern edge of Blackcomb and offers some great tree-lined Blue runs, Black runs, and Black glade-skiing options. Access to this area is via the Crystal Ridge Express Chairlift, which ends just into the open alpine zone of the mountain. Rumor has it that Crystal Ridge gets its name from the crystal-like powder snow that is often found here on a fresh snow day. With its Blue and Black runs and off-piste and glade areas, this is a great area for intermediate and expert skiers. There are also challenging unmarked Black runs and glade areas for expert skiers.
